We want to ensure people with disabilities have opportunities to achieve the same as everyone else; a home of their own, something meaningful to do, and someone to love. Our role is to provide creative and sustainable support which enables people to live active and healthy lives in their local communities in ways that they choose. Our Core Values guide how we work and inform our decision making. As an organisation we are in a good place, we have a great team, and we are excited about our plans for the future.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our Short Breaks Team at Surrey Choices.

You will provide hands-on support and work with people who have a diverse range of needs using a person-centred approach to ensure you work towards clear personal outcomes and goals.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will deliver care and support in accordance with the customers’ expressed wants and wishes and contribute to regularly reviewing customer support plans and risk assessments. You will ensure you are compliant with current legislation, policies, procedures, and CQC fundamental standards.

Working well within a team, you will demonstrate a practical understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding, risk assessment, and confidentiality.

You will be working flexibly over a seven-day period, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. You will also be required to work every other weekend.

  • Access to a generous pension scheme
