We are looking for caring individuals to join our current team, supporting a young lady with cerebral Palsy, living at home with her family, to assist with all aspects of daily living, and to support her to live life to the full.
You will be required to assist with all aspects of personal care including; PEG feeding, PEG care and administering medication. As part of the role you will also support with accessing day centers and other activities. The ideal candidate will be able to form a supportive relationship, as companionship is a key element to this role. Experience working with someone in their own home is preferable, but not essential, as full training will be given.
Hourly rates: The rate of pay is between: £14.00 per hour, depending on experience. Bank Holidays: are paid at Double Time
Flexibility: Successful candidates will need to be available for a combination of shifts, on a flexible basis per week by arrangement, with the addition of covering holidays and sickness. Shifts include weekends and evenings.
Preferred: Candidates with driving experience and own transport
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions).
