Salary:  £17,647 – £17,940 per annum or up to £9.20 per hour + benefits

Location: The Hilders, Ashtead, Surrey

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time and Bank positions also available)

At The Hilders we support 2 young ladies with various disabilities including physical, learning & mild epilepsy and require support with all aspects of their life.

The Hilders is an adapted bungalow in a residential setting in Ashtead with a wonderful garden.

A big part of your role as a support worker will be supporting people to do activities they like and to take part in new activities these may include:

Drives out to local places of interest.
Trips out in the community
Day services
Shopping trips
Visiting local eateries
In house activities such as; painting , craft making, use of assistance technology as both young ladies like to use an ipad to communicate to their families & friends.

As a support worker you will:

Provide emotional support to individuals and their families.
Provide support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care and paperwork.
Assisting with activities and accessing the local community
Support and monitor their healthcare needs, including administering medication and temperature checks.
