Salary: £25,500 – £28,500 (on track earnings*)

Full time roles are based on 37½ hours per week on a rolling shift pattern (daytime/evening/weekend) with 2 sleep in shifts a week.

*Hourly rate starts at £10.50/hour, rising to £11.02/hour once successfully completing probation. The sleep-in (overnight) shift is paid at £50 per shift.

About the role

Working as a halow Senior Buddy you will provide highly person-centred 1:1 support to Young Adults (aged 20-40) in their own supported living accommodation, promoting life skills, social skills and independence. You will also be responsible for organising the day to day running of the house, line managing other buddies and supporting the halow Care Team in delivering the service.

Please note: Please note, this role is scheduled to fall under mandatory COVID vaccination from 1st April 2022. The halow Project are currently operating a mandatory testing policy for COVID-19 as part of a temporary operational response to the managing the risk associated with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  All staff are required to undertake weekly PCR testing and wear appropriate PPE. The policy will be regularly reviewed and updated inline with any changes to Government guidelines and policy relating to COVID-19.

The nature of this role means that you must be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK. It is also desirable (but not essential) to have a full driving licence with access to transport. All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
