Working as a Senior Buddy at halow you will provide highly person-centred 1:1 support, promoting life skills, independence, social skills, leisure opportunities and community access, whilst providing care in the young person’s own supported living accommodation. You will also be supported to take on the management of the supported living houses and line management responsibilities for halow Buddies.
Full time roles are 37½ hours per week (starting at £10.50/hour*) on a rolling shift pattern (daytime/evening/weekend) plus 2 overnight shifts (sleep-ins) per week (£50 each). Slightly reduced hour roles are also available, with salary/leave pro-rated. * The hourly rate rises after successfully completing probation (£10.76/hour) and again when line managing 3 Buddies (£11.02/hour).
